Leading the way as the concept department on the project, we provided concept illustrations to give a visual target line of sight of what a remastered Gears of War on XBOX ONE could feel and look like for the Franchise’s 10 year anniversary edition.
We were careful not to disrupt what players had experienced, and remember from when we all first played Gears of War in 2006, keeping the feel and tone true to the original game.
Using concept art to tackle these iconic Characters, Creatures, Memorable worlds and levels, we took the opportunity to enhance the original production design, lighting, utilizing opportunities to emphasis the fiction, and push the overall next gen console experience through visuals.
